We just wanted to share with you our newest additions to the site, as we prepare for a multi-state push and national launch for our new and improved website set for early May 2009 (yes, NEXT MONTH)!
1) Business Listings :
- Upgraded format
- Upgraded graphics
- New edit features
- New billing system via a PayPal interface
- Gift card option activated
- Independent contractor codes activated (allows a business to get 3 FREE months if used)
- New pricing chart with simplified pricing structure implemented
2) Product Listings:
- Now exclusively done via PayPal (with PayPal protections)
- All listings now $1 per listing, a flat fee, with NO MORE FEES once you sell!
- Exceptions to the $1 listings are: autos, marine, and motors ($5) and real estate ($10)-- also one-time FEES with no additional fees once you sell!
3)Improved Customer Security:
- We no longer retain credit card information!
- New PayPal interface for product and business listings as described above
4) Garage Sale Upgrades:
- Overall process SIMPLIFIED!
- Invite code removed
- Garage sale administrator can now remove listings
- Single button access to join an existing garage sale
5) New Graphics & Colors:
- Upgraded graphics and colors across the site
- New and improved shopping cart design
6) New & Improved Sign-Up Process:
- New simplified process; same for both users and sellers
7) Improved System & Servers:
- Our website is now faster than ever
- We can now handle around a million users at one time!
8) Gift Cards:
- Our billing system now recognizes multiple gift card and amounts
9) Autos & Real Estate- Expanded Picture Limits:
- You can now add up to 10 pictures for each listing in these categories
10) Lower/ Simplified Prices:
- It now cost only $1.00 to list products on BuyFromAChristian.com for all product listings EXCEPT cars, marine, motors ($5) and real estate ($10)
- There are NO FURTHER FEES when you sell your product!
- Business listings were also modified to make them more affordable
11) Independent Contractor System Upgrades:
- New website with independent contractor instructions and tutorials
- Contract and contact information available as well
- New tracking system for individual sales
12) New Commercials Released:
- Focusing on new dollar product listings & donations
13) Donations Page Implemented:
- Allows people to donate to help us grow!
- Located on bottom of homepage and on subsequent page footers
14) Now Allowing Customer Website Links:
- Now feature a link to our customer's websites in each product listing (optional)
- This is yet another FREE feature we offer to BuyFromAChristian.com customers to help them sell their products!
