The Salvation Army is teaming up with BuyFromAChristian.com to raise money to help the victims of the April 24th tornado. At least 10 people died in Mississippi and dozens more were hurt. As you can imagine the need is great! We know not everyone has extra money to donate, but everyone has extra stuff. We are asking for you to donate new or used items that you don't need any more (you know the stuff that is just taking up space). Just take a picture and up load them on this garage sale and the Jackson Salvation Army will get 100% of the money raised. The Salvation Army will then use the funds raised to help the people who need it the most. Also 100% of the money raised from the items you donate will be tax deductible. So grab your digital camera and take pictures of anything and everything you are willing to donate to our storm relief online garage sale. Product Listing Dates & Clarifying The Phrase "List Until It Sells"

Hello everyone!

We are going to "reset" all the current products on the site to a listing date of 5/1/09. Why are we doing this you might ask?

Well, our goal is to prevent items from remaining active indefinitely when someone might have sold a product off the site a year ago, but may have forgotten to remove the item from our site.

Therefore, when an item has been on our site for greater than 3 months, we will remove the listing.

However, as we say, you can list an item "UNTIL IT SELLS!"

So you simply have to log on to our site, and renew your listing FOR FREE, every 3 months until your item sells. We hate to ask you to have to do this, but again, we do not want the site filled with products that are no longer available anymore.

To renew a listing, simply log into BuyFromAChristian.com and click on "iBFAC." Under the "Products" tab, simply click on "Expiration Dates" and you can see all your listings that are set to expire within 30 days. You can renew your listing here FOR FREE to run another 3 months, and you can continue to do this until your product sells!

**Please note** that once a product listing expires and is removed from our site, you will have to pay to re-list the item as a new listing.

We are pleased to announce it now costs JUST $1.00 to list an item online!

And the best part is your item listing can remain up on the site UNTIL YOU SELL (NOTE: we are developing a system, WHICH IS NOT YET ACTIVE, that will remove products after 3 months to prevent items from remaining active indefinitely- to prevent the site being populated with older products that may have sold offline. BUT we plan to notify you via email when your item listing is about to expire so that you can RENEW YOUR LISTING FOR FREE, INDEFINITELY, until your item actually sells)! So forget monthly renewal fees to re-list your item. Just list and know we allow you to leave your listing up for however long you need to find a Christian buyer. This is the cornerstone of our site and explains our often used phrase "Christians supporting Christians AND their local churches."

So, for example, if you want to sell a pack of cards for $3.00, jewelry for $50, a treadmill for $500, or an antique furniture set for $10,000, you pay us JUST $1 to list! Then, when you sell your item, you pay us NO FURTHER FEES (you get the idea!)...

Numerous real estate agents (and some people trying to sell cars) noted that sometimes more than 5 pictures are needed to adequately represent a listing. For example: a 3 bedroom house might choose to show pictures of the following: (1) bedroom 1, (2) bedroom 2, (3) bedroom 3, (4) den, (5) kitchen, (6) utility room, (7) garage, (8) bathroom, (9) front yard, (10) back yard.
